Thank you for considering becoming a 2026 counter/current:collective Season Sponsor!


Your sponsorship is essential to creating adventurous, thought-provoking theatre that inspires conversation, cultivates connection, and creates space for transformation right here in the heart of Midcoast Maine.


Art is a vital component of any thriving community. Excellent performing arts amplifies Belfast’s cultural scene, which turns our beautiful little city into a magnet that attracts people from the surrounding area and beyond, which helps your business flourish!


We strive to be sustainable in our artistic process, but even with cost-saving and waste- reduction strategies, it takes more than ticket sales to fund a production. Between compensating our artists, paying licensing fees for plays, renting rehearsal space, procuring costumes and props, and doing marketing and promotion, it takes between $5,000-12,000 to put up a single show. Ticket sales cover around half of this. 


Your sponsorship dollars will go directly towards the creation of our 2026 theatre season, and your generous contribution will be acknowledged for our ever-growing audience in a variety of ways! (See Sponsorship Tier options below.)


With four thrilling productions from January to September, your company will be highlighted as an essential supporter of the arts throughout the year—in the pages of our programs, on our website, in curtain speeches at the start of our shows—and your contribution will help ensure a thriving theatre scene right here in Belfast.
